Defending Evolution from ID Distortions

About

My name is Kris, I am a student majoring in history, a Christian, and a former Creationist. — I decided create this blog as a means to give my own commentary on the Creation/Evolution debate. I mean for this wordpress blog to be an extension for another Evolution blog I am running (http://evolutiondesign.blog.com).

In at least one discussion I have had on the subject, I have been asked if I was an “evangelist” for evolution. Well, I guess it’s really the zeal of the newly converted which prompts me to defend evolution. More than anything, my zeal comes from my own discovery that Evolution and God can co-exist, and I wish to show that to other Christians.

This is not about creation or evolution- although, I must say, I like your blog. I am a Christian, and have a hard time with literal CREATIONISTS. But I am really up in the middle of the night reading your blog because I Google searched Eosinophil Derived Neurotoxin, because my daughter’s physicians believe that she has eosinophilic esophagitis. They want to do lots of scopes of her esophagus to count her eosinophils, and I am trying to figure out what these little cells do, how they can harm my daughter, and if I should permit them to do as many scopes as they typically do with children with her symptoms. Please send me any information you have about the effects of Eosinophil Derived Neurotoxin. Thank you.
